Cristina Dayanara Lozano Jiménez, lojana de 25 años, a su corta edad va consolidando su ejercicio como arquitecta combinando diseño, ejecución de obra y una visión orientada al impacto social. Experiencia, visión y proyección
En el ámbito laboral, ha participado en la elaboración de planos arquitectónicos, diseño de fachadas, mobiliario y diseño de interiores para viviendas unifamiliares y departamentos. También ha intervenido en procesos de presupuestación y apoyo en ejecución de obra. Ha colaborado en proyectos dentro y fuera del país, principalmente en diseño arquitectónico e interiorismo, lo que ha fortalecido su criterio técnico y ampliado su visión profesional.
De manera complementaria, ha formado parte de iniciativas orientadas al mejoramiento urbano en coordinación con una entidad académica, experiencia que reforzó su enfoque hacia la ciudad y el espacio público. Paralelamente, es emprendedora en el ámbito de la cosmética natural, participa en nuevas iniciativas en etapa de consolidación y mantiene presencia en espacios vinculados a la economía popular y solidaria, así como en el sector financiero local.
Lo que más valora de su profesión es el contacto directo con las personas. “Ver cómo una idea se transforma en realidad es una experiencia que siempre me motiva”, señala. Una de las experiencias que marcó su ejercicio profesional fue la intervención en el patio de una institución educativa que, hasta entonces, era únicamente un espacio de tránsito. Junto a un colega realizó una propuesta sencilla mediante diseño y pintura que transformó el lugar en una zona interactiva. Según relata, lo más significativo fue observar cómo los niños comenzaron a apropiarse del espacio y utilizarlo con naturalidad, confirmando que incluso intervenciones simples pueden generar cambios concretos en la experiencia cotidiana.
En cuanto a los desafíos, reconoce que el proceso constructivo implica ajustes técnicos e imprevistos. Sin embargo, sostiene que cada situación representa una oportunidad de aprendizaje y de toma de decisiones eficientes, fortaleciendo su capacidad de adaptación profesional.
Fuera del ámbito laboral, disfruta de la lectura, actividad que considera una fuente constante de aprendizaje y crecimiento personal. También valora los espacios de encuentro que le permiten conocer nuevas perspectivas y enriquecer su visión. El tiempo en familia ocupa un lugar central en su vida, al considerar que una base sólida familiar contribuye a una mejor sociedad.
