#Loja | Con medalla de plata la atleta Jazmín Méndez de los registros de Federación Deportiva Provincial de Loja, se coronó vice campeona nacional juvenil en la prueba de impulso de bala, sumando otro bronce en lanzamiento de disco, en el Campeonato Nacional de Lanzamientos en las categorías adultos, juveniles U20 y Prejuveniles U18, organizado por la Federación Ecuatoriana de Atletismo y Concentración Deportiva de Pichincha, el sábado 15 de abril del 2023 en la pista atlética de los Chasquis.
Las expectativas de la entrenadora Dennis Vargas, en lograr pódium en este evento se cumplió en su totalidad; la preparación técnica de Jazmín Méndez permitió mejorar su marca personal constituyéndose una fuerte rival en próximos eventos competitivos como Juegos Nacionales Juveniles 2023.
