Hoy, personal de la estación #Centro de Bomberos de Loja fue alertado a través de la consola del Ecu 911 sobre un conato de incendio en el sector de Zamora Huayco, en la intersección de las avenidas Ríos Marañón y Río Pastaza.
Al llegar al lugar, los bomberos encontraron que el fuego había consumido una cortina en una vivienda, pero lograron controlar la situación y evitar que el incendio se propagara. Tras realizar la extinción completa de las llamas, los bomberos dejaron el área segura y libre de peligro.
Afortunadamente, no se reportaron víctimas, aunque sí algunos daños materiales.
