Los trabajos en la multiplaca en el barrio Vicente Rocafuerte están por finalizar, actualmente se hace el relleno con material de mejoramiento para luego proceder con otras labores que permitan habilitar el tránsito por este lugar.
El contratista terminó los trabajos de obra civil en el mes de diciembre de 2025, a partir de esta fecha el Municipio de Loja por administración directa ejecuta el relleno y posterior construir los pozos y sumideros que permitan finalmente colocar la capa de pavimento.
Cecicbel Vargas, fiscalizadora, explicó que estos trabajos tomarían alrededor de veinte días, dependiendo de las lluvias, porque de lo contrario retrasarían estas labores.
Una vez que se entregue la obra se apertura la circulación vehicular y peatonal por el sector, beneficiando a los habitantes de los barrios Obrapía, Menfis, Ciudad Victoria y más sectores que se ubican en el occidente de la ciudad.
