A través de la gestión de la Cámara de Industrias de Loja (CAIL) y el respaldo del Comité Empresarial Ecuatoriano, se realizó la entrega de equipamiento al Cuerpo de Bomberos del cantón Loja, destinados a mitigar los incendios forestales que han afectado gravemente a la provincia.
Como respuesta a la emergencia provocada por los recientes incendios forestales en la provincia, la Cámara de Industrias de Loja (CAIL), en coordinación con el Comité Empresarial Ecuatoriano, entregó insumos valorados en $10.000 dólares al Cuerpo de Bomberos del cantón Loja.
La donación, que incluye materiales, herramientas y medicamentos, busca fortalecer las acciones de mitigación y prevención de incendios en la región sur del Ecuador, donde miles de hectáreas han sido afectadas.
En el acto de entrega, realizado este miércoles 27 de noviembre del año en curso, Diego Lara León, presidente de la CAIL, agradeció a las empresas privadas que hicieron posible que este aporte hoy en día está en manos de quienes conforman el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Loja.
Por su parte, Cristian Alvarado, director estratégico del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Loja, señaló que estos insumos se distribuirán entre las siete subestaciones ubicadas en las parroquias del cantón. «Este apoyo refuerza el trabajo que nuestros equipos han realizado durante días para contener los incendios y evitar mayores daños», comentó Alvarado.
Lara también anunció que, en los próximos días, se entregarán más donativos al Cuerpo de Bomberos de los cantones de Quilanga, Saraguro, Calvas y Gonzanamá, áreas que han sido gravemente afectadas por los incendios forestales recientes.
El sector productivo reafirma su compromiso con la sostenibilidad y el bienestar de la provincia, sumando esfuerzos para impulsar la reactivación económica de las áreas afectadas.
