El personal del eje preventivo del Distrito de Policía Macará, logró la desarticulación de una presunta organización delictiva que se estaría dedicando al cometimiento de delitos como robo, receptación y tráfico ilícito de sustancias catalogadas sujetas a fiscalización.
La aprensión de los tres ciudadanos se dio este sábado 12 de octubre de 2024, en horas de la madrugada, 02:30 aproximadamente, el personal policial bajo información reservada, logra conocer que unas personas estarían cometiendo delitos contra algunos ciudadanos, cuyo modus operandi, era por medio de la intimidación, amenazas y causando lesiones por el uso de arma blanca, para luego proceder a cometer el robo.
Luego de varias investigaciones lograron ubicar los domicilios de los ciudadanos, encontrando varios indicios asociativos con el hecho delictivo, además en un domicilio se encontró una sustancia vegetal verdosa, que tras las pruebas químicas respectivas dio positivo para marihuana.
Los aprehendidos responden a los nombres de Luis C.P. de 40 años, de nacionalidad ecuatoriana y posee antecedentes penales por robo y resistencia de delito. Fausto C.R. ecuatoriano de 37 años, con antecedentes por robo y Harrison G.P. de 24 años, ecuatoriano y no posee antecedentes.
Entre las evidencias encontradas consta 60 gramos de marihuana, cuatro terminales móviles de diferentes marcas y modelos, 23 dólares americanos en monedas de diferentes denominaciones, 35 fundas plásticas transparentes, un paquete de pliegos de papel pequeño, una balanza electrónica y un arma blanca, tipo machete.
Los aprehendidos fueron llevado al centro de salud para la valoración médica respectiva y luego puesto a órdenes de la autoridad competente.
La Policía Nacional da estricto cumplimiento a la misión institucional de velar por la seguridad ciudadana y siempre está enfocada en la prevención, contención, reducción del delito.
